Budget statements
The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) is an agency in the Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts (ITRDCA) Portfolio.
Each year we must produce a chapter for the ITRDC Portfolio Budget Statements (PBS), including, where relevant, Portfolio Additional Estimates Statements (PAES) and Portfolio Supplementary Additional Estimates Statements (PSAES).
These statements identify the allocation of resources to the ACMA's outcomes. They are important for interpreting the annual Appropriation Acts, which provide funding to the ACMA.
Regulator Performance Framework
A framework for regulator performance helps us make our activities more effective and efficient.
View our Regulator Performance Framework assessments.
Cost recovery implementation statement
A cost recovery implementation statement (CRIS) shows how charging – on a cost recovery basis – for a specific government regulatory activity is put in place. Each regulatory activity that is cost recovered, regardless of financial value, must be documented in a CRIS before new or revised charges can begin.
ACMA Emissions Reduction Plan
This plan describes the priorities and actions ACMA is taking to reduce our operational emissions and contribute to the APS Net Zero 2030 target.
Legal services expenditure
The following are the ACMA's statements of legal services expenditure under paragraph 11.1(ba) of the Legal Services Directions 2017:
Financial year 2023–2024
During the 2023–2024 financial year, the ACMA’s total expenditure on legal services was $5,238,522 consisting of $4,325,621 for internal legal services and $912,901 for external legal services.
