The permit
You can apply to us for a permit to install network facilities where you have not obtained all the approvals you need under the relevant state and territory legislation.
We will assess you under Division 6 of Part 1 of Schedule 3 to the Telecommunications Act 1997.
Application fees
Schedule 1, Part 4 of the Telecommunications (Charges) Determination 2012 requires a deposit of $7,474 be paid for a facility installation permit application.
ACMA workers dealing with a facility installation permit application, that do not relate to the conduct of a public inquiry, charge an hourly rate of $202.
