What to do if you get interference
We take steps to prevent interference, but it can still happen.
If you get interference, you should check the Register of Radiocommunications Licences to find out where it might be coming from.
You may then discuss the issue with the person who is causing the interference.
If you don't resolve the issue with them, you can complain to us.
Overseas services
We must follow rules set out in the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Radio Regulations.
If you interfere with an overseas service, you must stop transmitting.
You must accept interference from an overseas service if it operates within ITU regulations.
How we manage issues with interference
We follow frameworks to help:
- avoid interference
- handle disputes about interference
There are separate frameworks for each spectrum licence band.
