Fixed radio licence

A fixed radio licence is for equipment that stays in one location. There are 10 types of fixed licences. 

Why you need a fixed licence

A fixed licence allows you to operate equipment in a point to point station.

A point to point station is a station that:

  • sends messages from a fixed location
  • to one or more stations at another fixed location
