The applicant requested access to correspondence between various parties (including ACMA officials) involving misinformation codes of practice and misinformation and disinformation quality measures.
Thirty-five documents were identified as falling in scope of this request. Two documents were released in full, 28 documents were released in part subject to redactions made under section 22 of the FOI Act of material exempt under sections 45, 46, and 47F of the FOI Act, and 5 documents were exempt from release under sections 45, 46, 47C and 47F of the FOI Act. Four of the 28 documents released in part are subject to third party review rights and access to those documents will be provided to the applicant (and published on the Disclosure Log) once those review rights have expired.
