Other information

The temporary fixed link licence option facilitates the authorisation of a fixed point to point station anywhere in Australia, on available channels in the 13 GHz band, for a period of up to 14 days. An important condition of operation is that radiofrequency co-ordination is necessary before every deployment.

Pay particular attention to the notes included with the assignment instructions (refer Appendix 1 of RALI FX03). These notes deal with, among other things, restrictions on the use of certain channels and sharing arrangements between point to point and television outside broadcast (TOB) services.

Minimum performance requirements apply to antennas used in the 13 GHz point to point service. See Appendix 11 of RALI FX03 for further information.
