We examine the current WRC agenda and other international deliberations, with a focus on the implications for our domestic planning environment arising from WRC-23 outcomes (including 6G and satellite identification).

3.05 pm: Session 4: A Roadmap to First Nations Digital Inclusion
Speaker: Associate Professor Lyndon Ormond-Parker

The First Nations Digital Inclusion Advisory Group has identified a number of key components to improving digital inclusion for First Nations People. Appropriate spectrum to facilitate First Nations People’s access to telecommunications and broadcasting services is critical to achieving Outcome 17 of Closing the Gap. This session explores the reform necessary to progress this work.
