Telecommunications in Australia: Report on interception and disclosures 2018– 19
This report examines cooperation with law enforcement agencies and the cost of compliance with the requirements of Part 14 of the Telecommunications Act 1997, and addresses the statutory requirements under subsection105(5A).
The report includes information about the communications industry’s support for law enforcement and national security agencies through the maintenance of communications interception capabilities and data retention.
