On 26 February 2019, the ACMA commenced an investigation under section 170 of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 into a complaint alleging that Yarra Valley FM Inc. had exceeded the five minutes per hour permitted for sponsorship announcements on 15 February 2019 during The Frankie Van Show between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm.
