Disclosure of commercial interests on radio

Commercial radio stations with current affairs and talkback programs have to disclose commercial agreements that may impact the content in these programs.

On your website, you must have a list of all agreements that:

  •  are commercial agreements 
  •  may impact the program content

You must have a link to this list from the radio station's homepage.

The rules are in the Broadcasting Services (Commercial Radio Current Affairs Disclosure) Standard 2022. The standard was remade on 23 March 2022.

Compliance with the standard is a condition of commercial radio broadcasting licences. It is important that licensees know their obligations.
