What an accredited person does

People who wish to access spectrum in Australia may ask an accredited person for help. They have specific knowledge and skills in radiocommunications.

We let accredited persons issue these certificates for radiocommunications licences:

• frequency assignment certificate (FAC) for apparatus licences
• interference impact certificate (IIC) for spectrum licences.

Some accredited persons can issue FACs for only one licence type.

We do not employ accredited persons, and are not responsible for their work.
