In March 2019, the ACMA commenced an investigation under the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 into gambling promotions from two companies allegedly provided in conjunction with the Australian Open Women’s Quarter Final between Naomi Osaka and Elina Svitolina.

The coverage of the AO Game and the promotions were streamed on SEN+ by Pacific Star Network Limited on 23 January 2019.
