We are urging all Australians who have accounts with illegal gambling websites such as Emu Casino or FairGo Casino to withdraw their money now.
On Monday 11 November we announced that we would begin using powers to request illegal offshore gambling websites be blocked by Australian Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
Emu Casino and FairGo Casino are likely to be among the first sites to be blocked. These services have been found to be operating in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.
