Outcome

We received 3 submissions to this consultation, which we considered when remaking the National Self-exclusion Register (Cost Recovery Levy) Determination 2022.

Previous consultation: The issue

We want to vary the National Self-exclusion Register (Cost Recovery Levy) Determination 2022. This is to reflect that BetStop – the National Self-Exclusion Register will now commence in the 2023–24 Financial Year.

Have your say

We are seeking feedback on the proposed changes to the Levy Determination set out in the draft consultation document.

The changes relate to when the ACMA recovers the upfront costs of establishing BetStop – the National Self-Exclusion Register, as the scheme will now commence in the 2023–24 financial year.

We propose to move 15% of the upfront costs previously set to be recovered in 2022–23 to the financial years 2023–24 to 2025–26.
