The Governor-General has reappointed James Cameron as a Full-time Member of the ACMA from 5 August 2021 for a period of two years. James was first appointed to the ACMA on 5 August 2013 and, at the conclusion of his new term, will have served a total of ten years.
In reappointing James, the Governor-General recognised his extensive experience in telecommunications, radiocommunications, broadcasting and the digital economy. James’ role as Spectrum Lead for the ACMA was also recognised and he will continue to play this important role as the ACMA implements recent reforms to spectrum management and upcoming spectrum allocations.
