Important note: Spam rules only apply to commercial messages. Political messages are not generally commercial. The ACMA is not able to act on complaints that are not covered by the spam rules. Complaints about non-commercial political messages may be directed to the authoriser of the message.

It should take you less than 5 minutes to complete this form. But remember, the more information you can provide us, the better. We rely on your information to identify where people are breaking the spam rules.  

To consider your complaint, we need a copy of the message. 

This form can be used to complain about a spam email, SMS or instant message.  

To complain about a telemarketing call, visit donotcall.gov.au.  

To complain about scams, visit scamwatch.gov.au.
