  • Prospective licensees intending to operate in the 85 GHz band are required to provide notification information to the CSIRO if the proposed sites of the stations are within 40 km of the Paul Wild or Mopra observatories. Refer to section 4.5 of RALI FX20 for further information.

Other information

Particular attention should be paid to the notes included with the assignment instructions (refer Appendix 1 of RALI FX20). These notes deal with, among other things, maximum transmit power and EIRP of stations, and the application of special condition 27 (no protection / no interference) to licences.


Minimum performance requirements apply to antennas used in the 85 GHz point to point service. Refer to Appendix 1 of FX20 for further information.
