Spatial data

  • Download embargo areas, in Placemark (Google Earth) and Shapefile format, from the spectrum embargoes web page.
  • Download RALI MS31 notification zones in Placemark (ordered by CSIRO observatory site or Frequency band) and Shapefile format.
  • Download a spatial representation of the areas referenced in the Television Outside Broadcast Service Frequency Band Plan 2012 (available in Placemark format).

Other information

Particular attention should be paid to the notes included with the assignment instructions (refer Appendix 1 of FX03). These notes deal with, among other things, restrictions on the use of certain channels, the application of advisory note BL to licences and coordination with aeronautical mobile telemetry systems, earth stations and spectrum licensed space.

Minimum performance requirements apply to antennas used in the 2.2 GHz point to point service. Refer to Appendix 11 of FX03 for further information.
