The ACMA encourages the electronic submission of licence application and technical information associated with the following:
- apparatus licensing submissions
- site registrations
- antenna registrations
- device registrations for spectrum licenses
- station registrations under the PTS 900 MHz apparatus licenses.
The ALF system supports the automated processing of submissions from Accredited Persons (APs) directly via XML. The automated processing of submissions through ALF fully conforms to ACMA requirements. Submissions that do not meet ACMA policy or assignment principles may also be lodged electronically for manual assessment.
The ALF system will perform some basic validation of the data submitted. However, regardless of these automated checks, the responsibility rests with accredited persons to ensure all requirements are met. You should seek ACMA assessment and approval for non-conforming submissions.
For APs who are not set up to use the ALF web service, the ACMA has developed online forms for the following:
- apparatus licensing submissions
- site registrations
- antenna registrations
- device registrations for spectrum licenses
- station registrations under the PTS 900 MHz apparatus licenses
- new ACMA client requests.
The online forms can be accessed from the ACMA Lodgment Facility portal.
If you require any further information, or are experiencing problems with the ALF service or online forms, please contact the ACMA Customer Service Centre via email at info@acma.gov.au or telephone 1300 850 115.
