- Announcement: IFC 07/2011 Clearing the Digital Dividend - Planning objectives and principles for restacking digital television channels (28 Feb, closes 4 Apr)
- Announcement: The ACMA has found that FOXTEL, the licensee of KidsCo, breached the ASTRA Codes of Practice 2007 (Subscription Narrowcast Television) by incorrectly classifying and broadcasting on 21 August 2010 the animated children’s film, Turandot, as G. (see Investigation Report 2515). (28 Feb)
- Announcement: Internet service provider Netfast Communications Pty Ltd - trading as Net Power Communications – has been directed by the ACMA to join the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman (TIO) scheme. This follows more informal efforts by both the TIO and the Australian Communications and Media Authority to convince it to become a member. (24 Feb)

- Announcement: The ACMA has found that the licensee of QTQ Brisbane breached the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice by failing to present factual material accurately in reporting on the origins of the Australian flag in a segment of 60 Minutes. QTQ also breached the code by failing to provide a substantive written response to a complaint (see Investigation Report 2450).
- Announcement: The ACMA has found that the licensee of TCN Sydney breached the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice by failing to present factual material accurately in a 60 Minutes segment broadcast on 22 November 2009 about sow stalls in Australian piggeries (see the Investigation Report 2436) (14 Feb)

- Announcement: The ACMA has found that the licensee of GTV Melbourne breached the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice by failing to present factual material accurately in reporting attendance figures at the Australian Grand Prix, (see the Investigation Report 2468). (7 Feb)
- Announcement: The ACMA has found that the licensee of TCN Sydney breached the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice by failing to provide a substantive response to a complaint (see the Investigation Report 2507) (7 Feb)
